Fun place to come on weekends if you want to dance. There's a great DJ in the back room. Even during the week days if you want a chiller vibe the AC is nice, the cocktails are delicious and the bartenders are super friendly. Plus it's a nice clean bar, good vibes and lovely decor. The inside is perfect for bringing a date for drinks, to book a table for any celebration or just chill at the booth w/ some friends. It's the best bar on the block. As a local I can say anytime you come you’ll have a great time.
Really relaxed vibe and welcoming bar. Easy and laidback stop for a drink. Nice space, dark with candles and mood lighting and good music. Cocktail menu on the mirror (all $14) a little hard to read from afar. I got the New York Buck with gin and it’s fine, which is a lot better than I can say for a lot of cocktails. Either the name is outside or I missed it!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. My friends and I went in on a Thursday night and no one else is there. It’s 12:30, the bar is open. We proceed to stand there for a minute or two deciding whether or not we should get a round of drinks or just leave. We decide to leave and as we are walking away the bartender goes “Thanks guys “ and then “thanks SOO much”. We continue to leave the bar thinking she’s joking and brush it off … but as we are walking out the door she screamed “THANKS ASSHOLES”. We were shocked. It was so completely unwarranted. Never going there again.
A fun little spot with some great music and medium priced drinks. It can get a bit loud and for awhile half of the dance space was closed due to Covid. Definitely a fun spot to dance if you don't want to deal with clubs
Nice music and chill atmosphere. DJ plays a lot of pop music so good spot for dancing.
Always a nice, chill experience. 'The Sage' cocktail (Elijah craig 12 year bourbon, drambuie, cointreau, and angostura bitters) is a nice (if sweet) sipper.
Drinks are just okay if not a little mediocre. The Black security guy with a black hat was really aggressive with solving issues. I waited 30 mins for the bathroom and it was my turn before DJ cut the line (at the time I didn’t know he was the DJ) so I confronted him. Instead of giving me an explanation, this Black security guy asked me to leave. Very rude and aggressive. Very crowded.
Love the music, friendly staff, and overall vibe. It’s a must place to stop by when visiting NYC for a dance with music from the earlier times. The genre varies from 70s to early 2000s depending on the DJ.
Would be even more fun to dance under some disco colorful lights. It could definitely add to the ambience.
